James C. Turpen is the Chief Executive Officer of Centum Health Properties. He is responsible for business development, acquisitions/dispositions, ground up development and leasing.
Prior to joining CHP, James was Vice President of Healthcare for Aardex LLC, a Colorado based sustainable real estate developer and design builder. During his time at Aardex, James led the development of the St. Anthony North medical office building as well as several other development initiatives.
Before Aardex, James was the Chief Executive Officer for InSite Properties, Inc. InSite has been a dominant player in Colorado medical real estate for over 25 years, performing property management, leasing, construction coordination and acquisitions. At InSite, James was responsible for overall client satisfaction as well as acquisitions of new properties. James led the acquisition of approximately $75 million of on campus medical office buildings.
James has over fifteen years experience in the field of healthcare real estate. His experience includes leasing over one million square feet of healthcare space, managing several million square feet of medical office space, ground up development, management of physician tenant improvements, acquisition and brokerage of over $100 million of healthcare real estate, coordination of the facility side of JACHO review and more.
James graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in business management and holds several real estate industry designations including a Colorado Real Estate Broker’s license, Certified Property Manager® (CPM®), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) a strong affiliation with the Building Owners and Managers Association’s medical office conference and the University
of Denver’s Masters of Science in Real Estate and Construction Management program. In his free time James enjoys spending flying, travel, golf and philanthropic pursuits.
Marc F. Holmes is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Centum Health Properties. He is responsible for business development, acquisitions/dispositions and operations.
Prior to joining CHP, Marc was a founder of Burmark Group, LLC. Burmark Group is a nationally recognized healthcare real estate asset management firm. Marc ensured that the strategic direction of its hospital clients and their real estate holdings were tactically aligned.
Before being a principal at Burmark Group, Marc was the Chief Operating Officer for InSite Properties, Inc. InSite has been a dominant player in Colorado medical real estate for over 25 years, performing property management, leasing, construction coordination and acquisitions. At InSite, Marc was responsible for operations, client relations and financial overview. Marc oversaw the contracts with Porter Hospital, Littleton Hospital, St. Anthony Central, Exempla St. Joseph Hospital, Boulder Community Hospital, Longmont United Hospital, Memorial Health System along with a number of independently owned medical office buildings in Colorado. Additionally Marc was extensively involved with the due diligence and subsequent acquisition of 21 HCA affiliated medical office buildings in seven states totaling over 51 million.
Marc has over seventeen years experience in the fields of real estate and finance. Prior to joining InSite Properties, Inc. he was a manager with a "Big Four" accounting firm. Additionally Marc worked for Advocate Health Care, a multi-billion dollar health care system in Chicago.
Marc graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Accounting and is a licensed CPA. Additionally he is a Colorado Real Estate Broker. In his free time Marc enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, golfing, hiking and skiing.
